Thanks a bunch

Happy Wednesday! On my previous post I mentioned we were looking to buy a car. We came across a kijiji ad and it was exactly the car we were looking to buy. Although hubby and I were a bit skeptical because of our limited budget, we contacted the seller hoping we can make a deal. After hubby test drove the car from Market mall to a residential area and went through all the details of the car, we crossed our fingers and gave them our offer. It was back and forth negotiation. The sellers wanted to think of our final offer first. Luckily after thirty minutes, we got a call and they agreed to accept our final offer. So yesterday, the bill of sale was signed and the money draft were exchanged. To appreciate their kindness, I made this card and hubby and I also added a tim hortons gift card. Who doesn't love coffee, right?

We are now a proud owner of 2010 Jeep Liberty Sport! It felt so good to finally feel "taller" then everyone. We still love our red 2000 Toyota Echo.

Supplies used: recollection cardstock, MS Valentines mat pad, little loud stamps by Freckle stamps collection, heart circle die by Spellbinders, and my new favorite... copic sketch markers.

Must go to bed now, I keep breaking my resolution and that is to sleep before 10pm!

Tree Filled with Love

Happy Sunday night! I had a nightmare around six this morning, we were vacationing in our country and this half human and half animal attacked us. It felt so real and I usually have bits of images of my dreams but this one was like watching gruesome movie in 3D. I would never watch Dexter nor Walking Dead ever! lol

I love Laurel's playing in paradise inspiration challenge, the colors are gorgeous... it's like being in a candy store (I don't eat candies though). teehee. Here's my take on their #50 challenge.

Supplies used: Country drive by Echo Park, Pea Pod Parts by Jillibean, heart punch & white cardstock by Recollection, doily by Wilton.

And here's the sneak peek of my first copic marker try-out. I love love love these markers! I'll show the card maybe on Tuesday, Jan. 24th as it will be one of my favorite days. Wink wink

Just a Dream

I had a wonderful week... it went by so fast!

Hubby and I are thinking of purchasing a new or used car four months from now. I visited many sites to get few advises that would be beneficial when it's time for us to negotiate with the dealer (excited much!). So for the last few days we were looking at the cars within our supposed budget. I saw a red Jeep Liberty Sport where we usually park our car... and geez, it was love at first sight. I tried to sell the idea to hubby for maybe a week, I said it's not Wrangler but it still look rugged and luxurious at the same time, glad he saw the same model but in black and he finally summoned! Woot woot

I can't wait to buy our new or used car... and I think we'll have it maybe within a few days! Wink wink

Here's a simple yet pretty layout I made. Picture was taken during our engagement session in Montreal. Btw, I tried the copic sketch markers and I LOVE it! I'll show my work tomorrow, it still needs some finishing touches. lol

Good night beautiful people!

I Got My Copic!

Brrrr, it's cold outside! We'll have a beautiful weather starting next Monday so let's embrace the cold weather as it will not stay for long.

I don't have a card to share tonight but I am super thrilled to received my copic markers I ordered at Ebay. These are my new set and I think I got a good deal. I can't wait to use it this weekend and show you guys what I come up with.
Here's our precious Samsam wearing his new winter jacket. I know, it looks like he's screaming for a new haircut but we can't bare to see him get so cold... maybe few more days won't hurt. jejeje

Bonne nuit a tous! It's almost Friday tomorrow! Woot woot

Sharing Your Sorrow

Hey y'all! I had a lovely long weekend and I hope you had a blast too! I did quite a lot of things; re-arrange the furnitures in my scraproom, made three cards, cleaned the house, did half of the laundry, went to Fabricville to get the supplies for my project, finally bought the drawer unit from Ikea and watched Sherlock Holmes movie at Sunridge theater... the movie was so hilarious. I mentioned to hubby that I didn't liked the first sequence but now I can't remember if I've ever watched it. lol

A mother of one of our colleagues past away last week. I hope somehow when she receives this card, it will lessen her sadness from grieving the loss of someone who's very dear to her.

Scrapbooker's Paradise currently has  this challenge and when I looked at my card... it has text, button and (pleated) ribbon. Awesome.

Cherish your yesterdays, dream your tomorrows and live your todays.
