My outfit yesterday was a bit "risky" as I'm not really fond of colored pants. Luckily I received a lot of compliments and that made me feel a bit prettier and sexier ;-). What do you guys think? Yay or Nay?

I hope the sun would come back in time for our long weekend... fingers crossed!

Dream You Shall Become

Happy Wednesday! Here's my take to Scrapbooker's Playing in Paradise challenge this week.

High school was the most memorable one for me. I started to become concious of how I look, made lots of really good friends, took my studies seriously so my family would be proud of me, my heart would beat so fast and my palms would be all sweaty whenever I'd see my crush. I would sneak out just so I could experince dating, but got busted by my sister and I was grounded until I graduated and moved to Montreal. Good times!

A lot had happened for the last two weeks. I felt like I was on a roller coaster, trying to figure my way out.

• I had consecutive head aches
• My back was killing me
• I started coughing
• My chance of conceiving naturally is next to impossible
• Cried my heart out so I would feel better
• Wanting to shop for a pair of white pants only but end up buying tons of clothes
• Had my immunization which lead me to have a very weak body 
• Had a shitty day at work, our group was threatened to be written off despite of our complaints
• Went thrift shopping for the first time and love everything I got.

I'm trying to convince myself that each challenges/problems that I encounter, there's always a solution and God has a plan for me. It's only a matter of time :-)

Yes, the dress made me feel like a princess. hehe

I had a fun but tiring weekend. Cleaned the house as I thought my friend and her family will come to visit me. Then came Sunday we borrowed the most talkative 4yr old boy named Liam. Glad he didn't asked for him mom, and he enjoyed walking our dog Sam at the park and hanging out with us. I felt like a kid running and chasing them in the park. I hope God will soon grant us a bundle of joy, but for now we'll settle with borrowing kids that their moms kindly allows us.

Bring On The Happy

Do you sometimes feel uninspired or feeling a bit down at work? Lately that what's happening to me, and so I decided to make a card for myself last night. I placed it in front of my workstation and so far, it always put a smile on my face whenever I look at it. I mean, the embossed heart shaped roses is too pretty to not make you happy... and then there's the word HAPPY. Who can't resists being, umm, happy! hahaha. 

You can obviously get the vibe that I'm happy right now. lol

French Maid

This is the card I made for my niece. I know she's going to adore this card as it has lots of pink, her favorite color & I also added three beautiful flowers. Oh, how I love spring!

Yesterday was my first time going on a stripper's club. hahaha
It was awkward at first, I feel bad for the girls but a friend said they probably making $100K a year. Now I feel bad about myself because I don't make that much! kidding aside, I respect everyone's decision in life. You are what you do =)

One Zero

Just a quick post about the first card I made after waking up from a coma, a.k.a laziness!
I've been feeling a bit sad about work. I had my hopes broken of moving up or learning new tasks when they didn't accepted my application, I have to deal with a guy who has a character of a bitchy girl almost every single day, and as much as I'm happy that my friend got promoted to be our lead, she's already micro-managing us which is driving everyone insane! I mean, where do you put yourself if you're in this situation?

I know soon I'll have my answers.

Shoe Fetish

I just had my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday. My dentist injected a lot of numbing gel that after they pulled the left upper teeth I was literally shaking. It wasn't because I got nervous (okay, maybe I was) but the rush on my veins made my heart pumped so fast it took me five minutes to relax. The whole experience was amazing and I had fun.

So since I have to stay home and mend my chubby chipmunk face, I decided to play shoe (dress) up. The girl got to do something when she's bored.

Good night! Monday blues tomorrow? Nah, I'll be sleeping & maybe do some scraproom cleaning.

Blink of An Eye

Whatever happened to Saturday? I wish work week is only four days.
Our dog has been keeping us up these past few nights. I wonder if he's in his teen years and always wanting to get in trouble. Don't be fooled by his innocent face, he has devious acts!

Wore my most relaxed clothes for a Sunday date with hubby. Had our brunch at a Chinese buffet, lol. Passed by at People's Jewelry store and saw an ad about 75% off pre-owned watches, hubby was so happy to snatched a black Bulova & silver with gold eco-drive Citizen watch. It was a steal, check your local People jewelry store asap!

February Fab Finds

Every month I will showcase few of my fabulous finds, whether it was on a mall, online shops, consignment stores, etc. I know I'm four days behind in posting this but as they always say.. better late than never!

Last year, I saved for about six months just so I can buy a Burberry bag I felt in love with in Burberry boutique at Chinook mall and ever since I had my hands on it, it was like having a reliable and fashionable bestfriend in one. lol. So I concluded that she needs a break.

Two weeks ago, I patiently look for a replacement. It took me three days.. and here she is, my new patent red purse from Coach. Isn't she stunning?

And on to my second fabulous finds is this nine west black wedge (similar) for only $22! I love it!
And lastly, my forever21 necklace I've been constantly wearing to add elegance to my simple office outfit. (all items were wiped clean prior to placing them on our kitchen table)
I can't wait to strut these! If only Spring is not much of a teaser!

Lazy Lady

How is everyone doing? Sick and tired of winter eh? I want to live somewhere warm now!

My bestfriend back in Montreal asked me if I could make a name banner for my God daughter Patricia. I gamely said yes three weeks ago and she have been bugging me about it. My creativity is playing hide and seek with me lately. I have a pile of projects I want to do but I'm just too lazy!

Here's what I came up with, I hope my god daughter will at least like it. haha

I'll try to invite my old self so I could make beautiful cards or produce interesting crafts. I do miss her and I hope she comes back soon. teehee

Bienvinido a Miami!

Is anyone tuning in to the new tv series "Smash"? I'm a big fan! Filipinos love to sing, it's very unfortunate I am not blessed with angelic voice =(. Katharine McPhee is ridiculously gorgeous and talented!

Speaking of smash, I finally gave in and bought myself one book. I'm loving it to bits! I will get some more of these if deals comes up. This is what I worked on and I hope you like it. I have to apologize in advance, my camera is acting up and the pictures are not in their best quality. Or maybe I need to get some Zzz.
When they say, patience is a virtue.. they didn't kid! lol and it was quite a challenge just to stitch a heart from start to finish. But I'm beyond happy with the result! I guess I do have patience.. sometimes! teehee... Here's my take on scrapbooker's playing in paradise and 2 Sisters challenge. ;-)

Sunny Stroll

I love long weekends, you can be lazy all day and not feel guilty about it. teehee

For my first lookbook, I opted for a simpler outfit. I love jeans as it offers endless versatility when it comes to styling. I have not shopped for the longest time, if you've read myprevious posts I spent most of my money on my hobby which is paper crafting. So last Friday, I headed to Cross Iron and was fortunate to buy a lot of stuffs within my budget. I introduced 3 earrings and 4 necklaces to my jewelry drawer, two pairs of shoes and two spring coats to my skinnier looking new closet. They all look happy to have finally found a new home ;-)
